Pune – Global hospitality technology company OYO honoured its top-performing hotel partners at an event at Hotel Emerald Guesthouse in Pune. This initiative is part of OYO’s broader effort to empower first-generation hotel entrepreneurs through technology, marketing, and revenue-enhancing tools. The event saw participation from prominent hotel owners, real estate developers, and hospitality entrepreneurs associated with OYO, who came together to discuss growth opportunities, best business practices, and future strategies.

OYO has announced plans to add over 300 new hotels in Maharashtra.

This expansion is especially focused on major cities like Mumbai, Nashik, Aurangabad, Nagpur, and Kolhapur, where business, leisure, and religious travel is expected in 2025. Most of these new hotels will fall under the ‘Company-Serviced’ category, meaning OYO will be actively involved in their day-to-day operations.

OYO’s Chief Operating Officer Varun Jain said, “Maharashtra is one of OYO’s most important markets, and Pune is rapidly emerging as a hub of hospitality innovation. Through this partner meeting, we aim to share insights on emerging travel trends, showcase our new products, and equip our hotel partners with tools that will help them confidently and profitably grow their businesses across the state.”

During the event, OYO also showcased the success stories of hotel partners who have expanded into multiple cities using OYO’s tech-driven model, resulting in higher room bookings, improved customer satisfaction, and increased earnings.

Shailendra Kumar, owner of the Divisha Group, said, “Our journey with OYO has always been centred on collaboration and growth. Their constant technology innovation gives us the confidence to invest in new locations and expand our business.”

OYO’s expansion campaign aligns with the Maharashtra government’s goal of promoting tourism in the state. The company is actively inviting new property owners and hoteliers to join its network by offering simplified management contracts, revenue-sharing models, and fixed rental agreements that ensure secure and profitable property operations. With this initiative, the company aims to further boost employment, entrepreneurship, and tourism in the region. So far, OYO has created thousands of direct and indirect jobs in Maharashtra, marking a significant achievement.
