India has administered over 70 crore 75 lakh doses of COVID vaccine so far under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive. Union Health Ministry said, more than 78 lakh 47 thousand vaccine doses were administered in the last 24 hours.
The Ministry said, 39 thousand 114 Covid patients recovered during the last 24 hours and the national recovery rate has reached 97.48 per cent. Till now, more than three crore 22 lakh people have recovered from COVID-19.
The country reported 37 thousand 875 new cases in last 24 hours. Currently, India’s active caseload is at around three lakh 91 thousand. The active cases constitute 1.18 per cent of the total reported cases. However, the daily positivity rate stands at 2.16 per cent.
The Ministry said, around 53 crore 49 lakh COVID-19 tests have been conducted so far.
