More than 15 crore vaccine doses have been administered so far in the country. On Wednesday more than 21 lakh vaccine doses were administered. In the last 24 hours, over 2 lakh 69 thousand people were discharged. Health Ministry said, in the last 24 hours, more than 3 lakh 79 thousand new COVID19 cases were reported. With this, total cases have reached more than 1 crore 83 lakh. Till now, over 1.5 crore people have recovered from infection. The recovery rate stands at 82.10 per cent. The Ministry said, 3 thousand 645 deaths reported in the last 24 hours and the death toll in the pandemic has crossed 2 lakh 4 thousand. Active cases in India are now at over 30 lakh.
Indian Council of Medical Research ICMR said, over 17 lakh 68 thousand tests were conducted yesterday and till now over 28 crore 44 lakh tests have been conducted across the country.
