Patna: In a major twist in the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections, the Marhaura Assembly constituency has seen the rejection of four candidates’ nominations, including the NDA-backed Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) candidate and Bhojpuri actress-turned-politician Seema Singh. The other disqualified contenders are former JDU district president Altaf Alam Raju (independent), BSP’s Aditya Kumar, and independent Vishal Kumar.
