Mumbai: In the last 24 hours, Mumbai recorded moderate rainfall across its zones, with 47.77 mm in the city, 53.92 mm in the western suburbs, and 33.1 mm in the eastern suburbs, according to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).
Despite the active monsoon, the city reported no injuries in weather-related incidents. However, the rainfall led to 11 incidents of tree or branch falls, 7 short circuits, and 2 partial house collapses.
Emergency response teams were promptly dispatched to manage these situations and prevent further risks. The civic body confirmed that all incidents were handled swiftly, and the affected areas are under observation.
