Mumbai Police’s Anti Terrorism Squad yesterday filed FIR against two persons who were illegally trying to sell Uranium. Both accused were arrested and 7.1 Kg Uranium is seized from them. Its market value is more than 21 crore.
While speaking to news agency, Senior Nuclear Scientists have said that carrying uranium without a license is a serious crime. But uranium seized from both is in natural form and less hazardous. Hence no need to worry. But illegal possession of such material is serious and the Police will find out the source.
