In a significant development, Mumbai Police have identified and traced an MBA holder responsible for a threatening call made to veteran industrialist and former Tata Sons chairman Ratan Tata. During the investigation, authorities discovered that the anonymous caller suffers from schizophrenia, shedding light on the circumstances surrounding the ominous call.
According to police reports, the caller, afflicted by schizophrenia, had contacted the authorities, urging them to bolster Ratan Tata’s security. The caller purportedly issued a warning, suggesting that unless security measures were heightened, Tata might face a fate akin to former Tata Sons chairman Cyrus Mistry, who tragically passed away in a car accident on September 4, 2022.
Upon receiving the threatening call, Mumbai Police swiftly activated precautionary measures, deploying a specialized team dedicated to bolstering Ratan Tata’s personal security. Simultaneously, another team was tasked with gathering comprehensive information about the caller.
