More than 115 crore 79 lakh COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered in the country so far under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive. Health Ministry said, over 51 lakh 59 thousand doses were administered yesterday. India reported over 10 thousand new cases during the last 24 hours. India’s Active caseload stands at one lakh 24 thousand 868. Active cases account for less than one per cent of total cases and it is currently at 0.36 percent, the lowest since March last year.
The Ministry said, the recovery rate is currently at 98.29 per cent and it is highest since March last year. Over 11 thousand people recovered in the last 24 hours and total recoveries touched 3 crore 39 lakh nine thousand 708. The weekly positivity rate currently stands at 0.93 per cent which is less than two per cent for the last 57 days. The daily positivity rate is at 0.96 per cent which is less than two per cent for last 47 days. The number of deaths due to the pandemic has reached four lakh 65 thousand 349. In the last 24 hours, 267 deaths were reported. So far, over 63 crore tests have been conducted across the country.
