Mumbai: India’s premier commodity derivatives exchange, Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), registered a total turnover of ₹95,157.06 crore across futures and options segments as of 4:00 PM on Monday, June 23. Of this, commodity futures accounted for ₹14,307.12 crore, while options on commodity futures contributed ₹80,848.22 crore (notional value). The MCXBULLDEX June 2025 Futures Index was seen trading at 23,029.

Commodity Futures Performance
Bullion: Gold & Silver Shine
Gold and silver futures collectively clocked a turnover of ₹9,573.29 crore.
• MCX GOLD August 2025 futures rose by ₹181 or 0.18%, trading at ₹99,290 per 10 grams.
• GOLDTEN June 2025 was up ₹238 or 0.24%, reaching ₹99,030 per 10 grams.
• GOLDGUINEA June 2025 increased by ₹39 or 0.05% to ₹79,461 per 8 grams.
• GOLDPETAL June 2025 rose by ₹16 or 0.16% to ₹9,964 per gram.
• GOLDM July 2025 advanced ₹201 or 0.2% to ₹98,775 per 10 grams.
Gold futures recorded ₹4,375.02 crore turnover with a volume of 4,412 lots and Open Interest (OI) of 16,339 lots.
Silver also showed strength:
• SILVER July 2025 rose ₹731 or 0.69% to ₹1,06,955 per kg.
• SILVERM June 2025 gained ₹728 or 0.69% to ₹1,06,539 per kg.
• SILVERMIC June 2025 increased by ₹736 or 0.7% to ₹1,06,550 per kg.
Silver futures clocked ₹1,643.63 crore turnover, volume of 5,118 lots, and OI of 20,012 lots.

Base Metals: Mixed Trend
Base metal futures saw a total turnover of ₹1,527.14 crore:
• COPPER June 2025 remained flat at ₹880.4 per kg.
• ZINC June 2025 rose by ₹1.9 or 0.75% to ₹255.2 per kg.
• ALUMINIUM June 2025 increased by ₹1.8 or 0.73% to ₹248.3 per kg.
• LEAD June 2025 saw a marginal rise of ₹0.05 or 0.03% to ₹178.85 per kg.
Turnovers:
• COPPER: ₹811.36 crore
• ALUMINIUM: ₹309.44 crore
• LEAD: ₹18.88 crore

The energy segment registered a turnover of ₹3,037.15 crore.
• CRUDEOIL July 2025 jumped ₹60 or 0.94% to ₹6,464 per barrel.
• NATURALGAS June 2025 rose ₹2.6 or 0.78% to ₹335.7 per MMBTU.
