Officials confirmed that 10 bodies have been recovered so far, while several passengers remain missing.

Police, Fire Services, local divers, and boatmen are actively engaged in rescue operations. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath termed the incident heart-wrenching and directed officials to immediately reach the site. “The loss of lives in the boat capsizing accident in Mathura district is extremely tragic and heart-rending. My condolences are with the bereaved families. Instructions have been issued for immediate rescue and relief operations and proper treatment of the injured,” CM Yogi said in a statement on X.
