The Santacruz Police Station has made a significant breakthrough in the case involving death threats directed at Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. The culprit behind the threats, identified as Sawant, has been apprehended by the authorities.

Sawant’s arrest follows his alleged involvement in sharing a controversial video on his social media page, wherein he issued threats to kill Deputy Chief Minister Fadnavis. The dissemination of such threatening content prompted swift action from law enforcement agencies.

After being taken into custody, Sawant was promptly presented before the court. Subsequently, he was remanded to judicial custody for a period of 14 days. The Mumbai Police confirmed the details of Sawant’s arrest and subsequent legal proceedings.
