Nagpur: Maharashtra BJP leader and minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule has reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to ensuring a transparent and thorough investigation into the ongoing Pune land case, stating that all individuals found responsible will face strict legal action.
Speaking to the media in Nagpur, Bawankule said, “I am saying even today that those who have caused us trouble have had cases filed against them. After that, for those involved, further inquiries will take place.”
He emphasized that the investigation is being handled with complete accountability and oversight. “The rest of the investigation is the responsibility of our ACS Revenue, under the supervision of the Settlement Commissioner, IGR, and Divisional Commissioner. We have formed a high-level committee, including a Deputy Secretary, which will submit its report within a month. After that, we will investigate everyone involved in the case,” Bawankule stated.
