Minister of State for Finance Anurag Thakur today informed the Lok Sabha that Maharashtra has got the largest share of funds, nearly 12,700 crores out of more than 72,000 crores CSR funds. Replying to questions, Mr Thakur said, no other state is even close.
There was little disturbance in the House as the minister refered to events in Maharashtra with regard to former Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh’s accusations. Mr. Thakur said the allegations made against Maharashtra government are serious.
