Maharashtra floods: ‘Plan to send food packets or any other daily needs articles on behalf of our Electronic Market’, says Mitesh Mody

Maharashtra is facing a tough time due to floods in Konkan region of the state, there has been huge loss of life and property. Many people are coming forward and are lending their help  to the people who have been affected.

And one of them is Mitesh Mody, President of All India Electronics Association who is trying to make every possible way to send relief packages to the people who are in need.

“Many have become homeless, many have lost valuables, shops and many have lost their loved ones. This is the time to help and support them. We, at AIEA, plan to send food packets (Grain kits) or any other daily needs articles on behalf of our Electronic Market”, said Mitesh Mody.

“Members can make a donation of Rs. 750.00 (at actual cost) plus, for one kit and more, of dal/ rice/ sugar/ tea / oil etc. which we plan to send and help the people suffering from this natural calamity. We, hereby, request all members to come forward and willingly help the needy. This call is purely for humanitarian causes and there is no compulsion on any members”, he added.

“Also along with committee members, we need some market friends to volunteer and help in supervising collection of relief materials and distribution of our kits directly at flood affected areas of Chiplun and other places through proper channels. We need to start and complete this job in the earliest possible time as timely help is needed of the hour. Interested members / volunteers are requested to contact any of the committee members.  Also any of our members can plz try to get quotes from direct sources so that we can send more relief materials from the total contributions received”, he concluded.
