Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis chaired a high-level meeting with police officials regarding Maharashtra State Police Housing & Welfare Corporation (MSPHC).

In the meeting ACS (Home), DGP, Mumbai CP, MD – MSPHC were present and many projects were discussed.

Here’s the projectd discussed

15 projects of new Police Station & police housing are almost ready. 10 more will be ready in 6 months.

Work for 457 police housing projects across Maharashtra with 53,860 houses for police personnel in progress.

87 new police stations in Maharashtra, 7 in Mumbai are planned.

Directed to prioritise the works; initially take up the urgently needed projects, finish it speedily & then go ahead phase wise.

Wherever feasible, police housing should be built near the police station itself.

Optimum utilisation of space is kept in mind while preparing the plan.

Best quality work in stipulated time is expected.

Assured that there will be no shortage of funds from the Govt for police housing.

Discussion on requirement of new Jail in Mumbai, Nagpur, Pune also took place.

Redevelopment project of Police Housing in Worli be expedited.
