Indore: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has announced a major infrastructure push under the state’s new civil aviation policy, including the construction of a permanent helipad every 45 km and an airport every 150 km. The announcement was made during a dialogue with industrialists in Indore on Tuesday, ahead of the ‘Invest Madhya Pradesh – Global Investors Summit’ scheduled for February 24-25 in Bhopal.

The Madhya Pradesh Cabinet, under CM Yadav’s leadership, has approved the Madhya Pradesh Civil Aviation Policy-2025, which aims to enhance regional connectivity and attract investments.

Incentives for Airlines, Helicopter Services Planned
The policy includes financial incentives for aviation companies, offering ₹7.5 lakh for every new domestic flight connecting Madhya Pradesh to other states and ₹10 lakh for every new international flight. Additionally, tenders will soon be invited for helicopter services linking Indore, Ujjain, and Omkareshwar.

Boost for MSMEs with New Policy
Alongside the aviation policy, the cabinet has also approved a new MSME Development Policy. CM Yadav assured that entrepreneurs investing over ₹2.5 crore in small industries would receive protection, and private industrial areas will enjoy the same benefits as those developed by the government.

With these initiatives, Madhya Pradesh aims to strengthen its infrastructure and industrial ecosystem, making the state a prime destination for investment and connectivity.
