Lone Mahie well known Sports Photographer, the face of Sports Journalism in the Valley

Srinagar: Photography is an art and it just captures the beauty of the moment in all its best.  Lone Mahie had always been in search of good sceneries or events to capture good moments and everyone is happy for his amazing work. Lone Mahie is playing a vital role in promoting Valley cricket by his photography skills.

Shabir Ahmad Lone, known by his alias name Lone Mahie hails from Kralpora of District Kupwara. He has done his schooling from Shaheen public school Kralpora, Kupwara district. 

Lone Mahie is such a name in Kashmir valley who is famous for his photography skills and has become one of favourites among cricket lovers of the valley.  

Domestic cricket tournaments in Kashmir are of the mark day by day in every district of the valley. Platform is being proffered by Local youth or by the administration by codifying various tournaments across the Valley. Cricketer’s feel the buzz of anticipation building up within by having fragment in these tournaments.  

The photographer plays a vital role in a Live Cricket match be it Test or One Day. Lone Mahie photography quality, mode, pace, cricket insights, biasedness, sense of humour in his skill has a great impact on viewers. Being a cricket photographer adds drama to the theatre and keeps the viewer hooked and longing for more.  

He captures valley’s top cricketers in his camera while playing in the tournaments of every corner of the valley. Patrick Eagar is his favourite Cricket photographer.  He had recently become a member of JK sports time.

Till date he had covered a lot of matches in a lot of tournaments through his camera which were going on all over the valley including Angels Trophy Kulangam, Champions trophy Pandith Pora, Champions Cup Chogal, Hokersar T20 cup HMT, Champions trophy TRC Srinagar, Rehman T20 cup Andergam, Super cup Palhalan, Ali memorial Pattan, Bijbehara Premier League, Mattan Premier League, and many others.
