Srinagar:In a heartening initiative aimed at community outreach, the 32 Rashtriya Rifles of the Indian Army conducted a “Khairiyat Patrol” in the remote villages of Jithen and Chip Dazi in the Rafiabad region of North Kashmir. The patrol, led by an Indian Army doctor, served as a door-to-door medical outreach program, offering basic health check-ups and addressing general medical concerns of the villagers.
As part of the initiative, essential medicines were distributed free of cost to those in need, with a focus on underprivileged and elderly residents. The effort not only provided timely medical relief but also raised awareness about health and hygiene among the rural population.
The Khairiyat Patrol was warmly received by locals, who appreciated the Indian Army’s compassionate gesture.
The initiative further cemented the trust and goodwill between the Indian Army and the local populace, showcasing the Indian Army’s continued commitment to the welfare and well-being of the people in the region.
