In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, one terrorist was killed when security forces retaliated firing of terrorists in Cherdari area in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district this morning. One pistol, one loaded magazine & one Pak grenade was recovered from his possession.
Police identified the slain terrorist as Javed Ahmad Wani of Kulgam district and said that he had assisted a terrorist Gulzar who was killed on 20th of this month, in the killing of two labourers from Bihar in Wanpoh area of Kulgam district. Further details are awaited.
