Srinagar: The SAMDO Mixed Martial Arts Association of India (MMAAI) on Sunday organised an inaugural training camp at Handwara in North Kashmir, Kupwara in the presence Chairman SAMDO N D Beigh, President Samdo India, Kyoshi Faisal Nazir and Grandmaster world SAMDO Martial Art, Renshi Dar Showket J&K President Samdo.
On the occasion former IGP Shafqat Watali was the chief guest of the programme. Former IGP Kashmir Shafqat Watali was nominated as chief patron of Samdo MMA India
Hundreds of students from many districts participated in this training programme and showed their skills regarding martial arts.
While talking to media Shafqat Watali said it is a great honour for me to nominated chief patron for SAMDO Association India I will work for the betterment of organization in country as well as international level and said this martial art training will boost the morale of students as a well as trainers, I hope this organisation will rise in internationally.
Chairman Samdo India, N D Beigh said “it is great moment for us today as we nominate Shafqat Watali as chief patron for our organisation I hope he will work for the betterment of organisation in every way.” He further announced “in the second week of May we are going to organise a national level championship event in Handwara ”.
President SAMDO India and GrandMaster World SAMDO Martial Art, Kyoshi Faisal Nazir said “we have goals to Samdo Martial Art internationally. About five countries want to join our organisation Samdo Martial Art. We are working on their recognition and hope in the future we recognise them. In the coming month of May we are going to organise a big event in Handwara where many participants from other states are willing to participate and we welcome them in Samdo MMA Association India.
