Homes of Lashkar-e-Taiba Terrorists Destroyed in Jammu and Kashmir After Pahalgam Attack, Reports Say

Srinagar: In a significant development on Thursday night, the Jammu and Kashmir authorities demolished the home of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorist Asif Sheikh, involved in the recent Pahalgam terror attack that left 26 dead. According to media reports, two houses linked to LeT operatives were destroyed in blasts.

Asif Sheikh, a resident of Tral in Pulwama district, is suspected of playing a key role in the attack, which occurred on April 22. The attack targeted tourists and local residents in Pahalgam, resulting in widespread devastation. Another key suspect, Adil Hussain Thokar from Bijbehara block in Anantnag district, has been named the primary accused. Thokar is reportedly one of the masterminds behind the attack.

The Anantnag Police have now intensified their efforts to capture Thokar, offering a reward of ₹20 lakh for any information leading to his arrest. Two Pakistani nationals, also suspected to be involved in the attack, have been declared wanted by the authorities as well.
