Ahead of the oath-taking ceremony, Himanta Biswa Sarma visited Doul Gobinda Temple and Kamakhya Temple ahead of swearing-in ceremony in Guwahati. He began the day by offering prayers and sought the blessings of the people of his constituency Jalukbari.
