Good Governance week Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav Celebrated at Block HQ Natnusa and Handwara

Srinagar: In connection with the celebration of Good Governance Week and redressal of public grievances besides improving service delivery titled “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, a mega event was organised on Friday by the Rural Development Department (RDD) at Block Headquarters Natnusa here.

The central government is celebrating Good Governance week from December 20 to December 26, 2021. 

The program was presided over by Block Development Officer (BDO) Amina Latif, Block Development Council (BDC) Natnusa, Asifa Begum, Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs) members of Block participated in the event.

Good Governance Week Cum Education Mela held at GBHSS Handwara

In a related development, as part of the central government’s celebration of Good Governance week, a camp was organised by Zonal Education officer Handwara under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav at Government Boys Higher Secondary School (GBHSS), Handwara in which the people were informed about the purpose of celebration of Good Governance week.

On this occasion Deputy Commissioner Kupwara Imam Din along District Development Commissioner (DDC) Rajwar, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Kupwara, Municipal Commissioner Handwara inaugurated Winter Tutorial at Government Boys Higher Secondary School Handwara and also distributed books to the students۔

Those who attended the meeting included DC Kupwara Imam Ud Din, CEO Kupwara Abdul Hamid Fani, MC Chairman Handwara Masroor Banday, DDC Rajwar Mir Sulaiman, Deputy CEO Manzoor Ahmad, ZEO Handwara Shabir Ah Badana and others.
