Hyderabad: Union Minister and Telangana BJP President G Kishan Reddy has strongly criticized Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader and former Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) for not addressing the Pahalgam terror attack during his party’s recent public meeting in Warangal. Reddy, speaking to reporters, expressed his disappointment, stating, “Everyone is rising above politics, region, religion, and caste to condemn this act of terrorism. All state governments and senior leaders across the world are also supporting India.”

Reddy highlighted that a significant public meeting of BRS was held in Warangal during this period, yet KCR did not utter a single word about the Pahalgam attack. He further challenged the people of Telangana to question BRS on its stance regarding the terror attack, urging them to “clear the stand of BRS in this matter.”

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi convened a high-level meeting on Tuesday, which was attended by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Chief of Defence Staff Gen Anil Chauhan, and the three service chiefs. National Security Advisor Ajit Doval also participated in the meeting. This discussion comes after the Cabinet Committee on Security convened on April 23 in response to the terror attack on tourists in Pahalgam that claimed 26 lives.
