Tragedy struck the Galaxy Hotel in Mumbai’s Santacruz district on Sunday afternoon as a fire outbreak resulted in the loss of three lives and injuries to five individuals. Swiftly responding to the emergency, both the police and local authorities mobilized to the scene.
The conflagration ignited on the hotel’s third floor around 1:17 pm, prompting the immediate dispatch of four fire tenders and an equal number of water tankers. Although firefighters have managed to bring the fire under control, complete extinguishment remains ongoing. Notably, six individuals have been successfully rescued amidst the chaos.
