Mumbai: Leader of the Opposition in Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, Devendra Fadnavis on Wednesday escaped unhurt in the car accident that took place near Jalgaon.
Leader of the opposition in legislative council, Praveen Darekar who has accompanying Fadnavis has suffered minor injury.
“Due to heavy rainfall and less visibility the vehicle in the escort hit Darekar’s car from behind.
However, both are safe”, sources said. Fadnavis, himself while confirming about the incident said they were heading to Jalgaon after winding up their tour to Nashik and Malegaon when the incident took place.”Myself, Darekar and other accomplices are safe. There is nothing to worry”, Fadnavis tweeted.
