The controversy surrounding the mysterious death of celebrity manager Disha Salian has taken a new turn, with shocking allegations surfacing against Shiv Sena (UBT) MLA Aaditya Thackeray, actors Aditya Pancholi and Dino Morea, and Thackeray’s bodyguards. Advocate Nilesh Ojha, representing Disha’s father, claimed that there are eyewitnesses who saw the accused gang-raping Disha on the night of her death.
Ojha, who has filed a fresh petition in the Bombay High Court demanding a deeper probe, expressed his lack of faith in the Special Investigation Team (SIT) investigating the case but stated his trust in Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
“More than ample evidence, there are eyewitnesses who have seen Aditya Pancholi, Dino Morea, Aaditya Thackeray, and his bodyguards gang-raping the victim,” said Ojha, as quoted by India Today.
Disha Salian, who was a former manager of late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, died on June 8, 2020, after allegedly falling from the 14th floor of a high-rise building in Mumbai. At the time, Mumbai Police registered an Accidental Death Report (ADR). However, six days later, Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Bandra residence, leading to a storm of conspiracy theories linking the two cases.
Following widespread demands for justice, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) took over Sushant’s case, while an SIT was formed in 2023 to probe Disha’s death.
The latest petition by Disha’s father alleges that a party was held at their home on June 8, which was attended by Aaditya Thackeray and actors Sooraj Pancholi and Dino Morea. The plea seeks the registration of an FIR against Thackeray, who has dismissed the accusations as politically motivated.
