Embassy of India and the Gandhi Centre celebrated Hindi Diwas on September 13, in The Hague, Netherlands

The Hague: As part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations, the Embassy of India and the Gandhi Centre in the Netherlands celebrated Hindi Diwas on September 13, in presence of the Ambassador of India to The Netherlands, Reenat Sandhu. Tara Pathak, Director of Gandhi centre welcomed all the participants.

Followed by a discussion to mark the significance and importance of “Hindi Day” by members of the Indian diaspora in the Netherlands.

On this occasion, prizes were given to all the winners of essay, calligraphy, and poetry reading competitions. A book ‘Bhasha Vatika’ written by Hindi Parishad was also released.

Children also presented Hindi poems, speeches, and Rashtra gaan on the occasion of Hindi day at the Gandhi centre.
