Singer Ekam Bawa, who identifies himself as Rhiti Tiwari’s stepfather and her mother Rani Tiwari’s former partner, has responded to the Bigg Boss 20 contestant’s comments about her personal life and finances.
In a video shared online, Bawa made several allegations about Rhiti and her family and questioned her statements regarding the financial support she reportedly receives from her father, actor-politician Manoj Tiwari.
Bawa claimed that he lived with Rani and Rhiti in the same flat between 2020 and 2025. He also alleged that he was in a live-in relationship with Rani from 2020 to 2022 before they got married. He shared photographs with Rani and Rhiti while speaking about his association with the family.
Reacting to Rhiti’s reported statement that she receives Rs 25,000 per month from Manoj Tiwari, Bawa questioned how that amount would cover the lifestyle and assets he alleged she has.
“Jiske paas Rs 4-5 lakh ke handbags ho… Uske baad aapke paas badi badi gadiya hai. Range Rovers ka toh Rs 2.5-3 lakh ka kharcha hai khali. Aap Rs 25,000 keh rahe ho?” he said.
Bawa further claimed that Rhiti owns a sports company with a large turnover and alleged that she has expensive flats in Mumbai. He also criticised her comments and conduct on Bigg Boss 20.
“Logon ko pagal banana band kariye aap. Bigg Boss mein jake aap logon ko gaali de rahe hai… bachchey, nahi karte aisa. Yeh shobha nahi deti baatein,” Bawa said.
He also addressed Rhiti’s comments about family and values, claiming that he is her stepfather in legal terms.
“Parivaar aur sanskaar ki yeh baatein karti hai, on paper, legally mein iska dusra baap hoon,” Bawa said.
Bawa then made further allegations about Rani and Rhiti’s personal relationships and strongly criticised Rhiti’s conduct on the reality show.
“Iski jo maa, usne pehle Manoj ji ko choda, fir mere saath isne bohot zyada… yeh Rhiti bhi. Bohot ghatiya kisam ke insaan hai yeh aur waha jaake kar baatein kar rahi hai. Mein itna sharminda ho rahi hu uss cheez ko dekh kar ki kaise kar sakte hai? Sirf fame lene ke liye. Mere paas inki bohot cheezein hai… Bohot sharam ki baat hai,” he alleged.
Bawa’s statements are allegations and have not been independently verified. Rhiti Tiwari’s mother, Rani Tiwari, has not publicly responded to the allegations so far.
