Eindhoven danced to the tune of Desi Holland Day to celebrate Indo-Dutch collaboration and friendship

EindhovenThe Netherlands:

On Sunday Eindhoven danced to the tune of Desi Holland Day, wherein two cultural groups, Desi Holland (led by Sonali Kale and Hedy) and Sanskriti & Sanskaar (led by Mahesh Vallabh Pandey) came together to celebrate the Indo-Dutch collaboration and friendship.

On this goal of increasing Dutch Friendship, there have been several prestigious organizations like Stichting OFBJP Netherlands (Overseas Friends of Bharatiya Janata Party – OFBJP) who have been working hard towards integration. They have a strong leadership and volunteers’ team who have been actively helping fellow Indians for the last 7 years.

Sonali, Hedy and Mahesh organized the event filled with classical dances, Bollywood dances, quizzes and Bollywood singing.

OFBJP Netherlands head, Pratima Singh and owner of the Sanskriti & Sanskaar Group, Mahesh Vallabh Pandey, the creative writer, novelist, poet, lyricist and podcaster were the chief guests for the event.  Mahesh played the part of the Master of Ceremony as well for the event.

Shyma Warrior students, Kaira Anand, Iva Maria, Amrutha Dileep, Shriya Raghavan, Aashrita Arun performed the Natesh Kauthuam, a form of Bharatnatyam dance. Poornima Nair, one of the well-known classical dancer in the Netherlands, performed a Bharatnatyam dance.

Next sessions were filled with a ghazal recitation and several interesting Bollywood quizzes by Mahesh Vallabh Pandey himself; Bollywood medley dance performances by Ashwini, Kavita, Sonali, Pranali, Saloni, Vignesh, Nanda, Kaavya, Dharani, Harini, Rahul, Rujuta and Shreya.

Event concluded with melodious and foot-thumping singing by Eindhoven-based Hamara Music Group and Vote of Thanks by the Master of Ceremony and the organizers.
