Mumbai: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Tuesday raided the residence and offices of former Vasai-Virar Municipal Commissioner Anil Pawar in connection with a money laundering probe. The case involves the illegal construction of 41 buildings on 60 acres of civic land reserved for sewage treatment and dumping grounds.
Raids were also conducted at 12 other locations linked to Pawar across Mumbai, Pune, and Nashik.
