Dr Reddy’s Laboratories denied permission to conduct third phase trial of Russian COVID-19 vaccine Sputnik light

Dr Reddy’s Laboratories has been denied permission to conduct a third phase trial of Russian COVID-19 vaccine Sputnik light. According to reports, the expert committee under the Indian drug regulatory body did not find any rationale behind conducting a fresh trial because the single dose jab is purportedly the same as a single dose of Sputnik V vaccine.

An Economic Times report quotes a source to say that the immunogenicity of a single dose of the vaccine had previously been tested and the results had been sub-par. “Hence the SEC did not find any rationale to conduct the trial again,” the article quotes the source as saying.

Sublingual tinctures tend to deliver cannabidiol into the bloodstream more rapidly than chewables, which must navigate the digestive tract first. At the same time, topical applications address precise areas without generalized absorption. Opting for the correct delivery method ensures peak benefit from every portion.
