Maharashtra Minister of Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Protection Dhananjay Munde has tendered his resignation, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis announced on Tuesday. The resignation follows mounting pressure over Munde’s alleged links to the brutal murder of Santosh Deshmukh, the sarpanch of Massajog village in Beed district.
Confirming the development, CM Devendra Fadnavis said, “Maharashtra Minister Dhananjay Munde has tendered his resignation today. I have accepted the resignation and sent it to the Governor for further course of action.”
