Mumbai: Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has expressed strong disapproval of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s recent comments in Boston, US, where he allegedly cast doubts on India’s democratic institutions. Speaking to the media, Fadnavis said, “It is very sad that Rahul Gandhi goes abroad and spreads lies about the institutions created by the constitution of this country and tries to defame them. He tries to raise questions about democracy.”

Fadnavis also highlighted the personal impact of Gandhi’s repeated election losses, attributing his remarks to frustration. “I feel that he is doing such acts because of the consequences that have happened to him after losing elections repeatedly,” he added.

The Chief Minister went on to criticize Gandhi’s actions, suggesting that they were damaging to his political reputation. “The way Rahul Gandhi is behaving has raised a question mark on his character,” Fadnavis stated.
