Veteran Stand-up comedian Raju Srivastava, admitted at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi, passed away on Wednesday, September 21, at the age of 58.
On August 10, Raju had suffered a heart attack while he was running on the treadmill at the gym. He was immediately rushed to the hospital where he underwent an angioplasty the same day.
Raju was in a state of unconsciousness for several days. He underwent treatment for several days and his condition remained critical.
The 58-year-old actor and stand-up comedian is known for his performance in ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge’. He also participated in ‘Bigg Boss’ and did several films such as ‘Baazigar’ and ‘Maine Pyaar Kiya’.
