CM Chandrababu Naidu Expresses Grief Over Annamayya Road Tragedy, Promises Full Support to Victims’ Families

Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu expressed deep sorrow over the tragic road accident that claimed the lives of nine people near Reddicheruvu Katta in Pullampet mandal, Annamayya district, late last night.

The victims were travelling from Rajampet to Railway Koduru when the mango-laden lorry they were in overturned, resulting in a devastating loss of life and leaving several others injured.

Following the incident, CM Naidu promptly inquired with senior officials to understand the circumstances of the crash. Officials briefed him that immediate rescue operations were conducted, and the injured were shifted to nearby hospitals for treatment. Medical teams have been deployed to ensure the best possible care.

The Chief Minister assured that the state government will extend full support to the families of the deceased, and directed district authorities to ensure high-quality medical assistance for the injured. He further instructed that proper ex-gratia and relief measures be implemented without delay.

The Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) confirmed that the administration is closely monitoring the situation and coordinating with local officials to provide all necessary help.
