Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope on Wednesday said that the state is facing vaccine shortage and some centers have been stopped due to unavailability of vaccines. However, now BJP leader Chandrakant Patil has slammed the state government and said Center has been giving all possible support to the system and provided over 1 crore vaccine doses to Maharashtra but several dosages were wasted.
“I don’t know what is the political meaning of this statement but the academic meaning of that is Center is given all possible support to the system. Central government gave over 1 crore vaccine doses but several dosages were wasted, why so?” Patil was quoted as saying by the news agency.
Speaking about the Anil Deshmukh case, Patil claimed two more state ministers will have to resign in 15 days and that the state was a “fit case for President’s rule”.
