People are unhappy with Maharashtra government’s partial lockdown in the state. Even Television actor Karan Patel called the mini lockdown “senseless and outright stupid”.
‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ fame took to his Instagram account and wrote, “Actors CAN continue to shoot for their projects. Cricketers CAN continue to play their matches, day or night. Politicians CAN hold rallies with thousands of people States CAN conduct elections and expect you to come out to vote. BUT the common man cannot go to work. #Stupid and Outright senseless.”
Maharashtra on Wednesday recorded the highest daily count of 59,907 coronavirus positive cases, taking the tally of infections to 31,73,261 while 322 fatalities pushed the toll to 56,652, the state health department said.
