Celebration International Day of Yoga at Army Camp Langate

Langate: The International Day of Yoga is celebrated annually on 21 June since 2015 with the aim to ensure physical, mental and spiritual health. In view of the World Pandemic COVID-19 exacerbating psychological sufferings and mental health problems, many people are embracing Yoga to stay healthy and to fight isolation and depression. The theme for Yoga Day 2021 is Yoga for Well-being.

In view of ensuring the well-being of own personnel and citizens of nearby villages, the Army Camp, Langate organised Joint Yoga Session so as to promote physical, mental and spiritual health. The session was attended by 110 personnel from Army, CRPF, BSF and JKP including 26 Civil Dignitaries and Children.

The Yoga Session concluded with positive feedback, with participants feeling healthy and energised. All participants pledged to include Yoga in their daily routine and urged army to conduct such sessions in future as well.
