In a strange and alarming incident, a 31-year-old businesswoman has been taken into custody by the police for allegedly stalking and attempting to abduct a television music channel anchor, with the intention of marrying him.

The woman in question, identified as Bhogireddy Trishna, runs a digital marketing business and reportedly became fixated on TV anchor Pranav Sistla after coming across his photos on a matrimony website around two years ago.

According to the police, Trishna meticulously searched through Pranav’s profile and managed to obtain his phone number. Upon contacting Pranav via an instant messaging app, she was informed by the anchor that someone had misused his photo to create a fake account on the matrimonial site. Pranav had already filed a complaint with the Cyber Crime police station regarding this fraudulent activity.

Despite Pranav’s clear disinterest and subsequent blocking of her number, Trishna persisted in her pursuit. Undeterred by rejection, she allegedly formulated a plan to abduct the anchor, believing that she could resolve matters once they were face-to-face. To execute her scheme, Trishna reportedly enlisted the help of four individuals to carry out the abduction, even going so far as to install a tracking device on Pranav’s car to monitor his movements.

On February 11, the hired men reportedly abducted Pranav, subjecting him to physical assault at Trishna’s office. Fearing for his safety, Pranav relented and agreed to respond to Trishna’s calls, after which he was released by the abductors.

Following this traumatic experience, Pranav wasted no time in lodging a formal complaint with the Uppal police station. Consequently, a case was registered against the perpetrators under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), including those related to kidnapping, wrongful restraint, and wrongful confinement.

Subsequent investigations by the police led to the arrest of Trishna, along with the four men she had hired to carry out the abduction. The investigation into this bizarre and disturbing incident is ongoing, with authorities working diligently to uncover all the facts surrounding the case.
