Mumbai: The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections are set to take place on January 15, 2026, with the counting of votes scheduled for January 16.
According to the election schedule announced today, a total of 10,111 polling stations will be established across Mumbai to facilitate voting. The elections will be conducted using the electoral roll revised on July 1, 2025.
Candidates can file their nominations between December 23 and December 30, 2025. The withdrawal of nominations will be allowed until January 2, 2026, and election symbols will be allotted by January 3, 2026.
