New Delhi: BJP candidate from the New Delhi Assembly seat, Parvesh Verma, has launched a scathing attack on AAP national convenor and former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, alleging corruption and mismanagement in the Mohalla Clinic scheme. Verma termed the initiative a “Halla Clinic” instead of a Mohalla Clinic, accusing the AAP government of using it as a political tool rather than a genuine healthcare service for the underprivileged.

In a letter addressed to Kejriwal, Verma questioned the transparency of the scheme and demanded clarity on the funds allocated to the Mohalla Clinics. He asked for a public disclosure of where the money had been spent, alleging financial irregularities. He also sought a comprehensive list of ghost clinics that exist only on paper and the identities of officials responsible for these false establishments. Additionally, Verma demanded detailed data on the number of patients treated and the total expenditure incurred, accusing the government of hiding authentic figures.

The BJP candidate further asked for a breakdown of how many family members of Kejriwal, his ministers, and MLAs have benefited from the scheme and whether the clinics were being used for political advantage. He accused the Delhi government of failing to deliver on its commitments and questioned why no apology had been issued for the alleged failures. Verma lambasted AAP, claiming that Mohalla Clinics have become a platform for publicity and political gain rather than real healthcare. He demanded that the Delhi government release all financial details and data related to the scheme, asserting that the public deserves transparency and accountability.
