Delhi: Ahead of the upcoming assembly elections in West Bengal, BJP national spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia launched a strong attack on Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, accusing her of indulging in communal and appeasement politics. Speaking to the media, Bhatia said, “It is unfortunate that there is a leader in India, Mamata Banerjee, who has become the epitome of communal politics and appeasement politics. Mamata Banerjee is afraid and scared, as she is well aware that she is going to lose the forthcoming assembly elections in West Bengal.”

Bhatia also targeted Trinamool Congress MLA Humayun Kabir, reacting to Kabir’s recent statement regarding the construction of a Babri Masjid in West Bengal. He said, “The height of criminal politics is this: that when every Indian, every Hindu, is rejoicing the magnificent Ram temple at Ayodhya, TMC leader Humayun Kabir announces, as per the wishes of Mamata Banerjee, that there would be construction of a Babri Masjid in West Bengal starting from the 6th of December. This clearly reflects the kind of hatred that Mamata Banerjee has for Hindus and the love that she has for illegal immigrants. Mamata Banerjee’s thinking and ideology are deplorable and worrisome.”
