BJP UT Secretary Mudasir Wani and IT Co-Convener Sartaj Majeed Receive Warm Welcome in Handwara

Handwara: The newly appointed Union Territory Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Mudasir Wani, along with IT Co-Convener Sartaj Majeed, was given a warm and enthusiastic welcome by party workers and supporters during a special programme held at the TRC ground in Handwara on Saturday.

The event saw a large turnout of BJP workers, local leaders, and well-wishers who gathered to felicitate the newly appointed office bearers. The atmosphere was charged with energy as party supporters raised slogans and expressed their support for the leadership.

Addressing the gathering, Mudasir Wani expressed deep gratitude for the warm reception and spoke about his long-standing association with the BJP. “It is a matter of great honour for me to be appointed as the UT Secretary. Over the last decade, I have witnessed how the BJP, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has introduced numerous people-centric policies. This is why the party continues to win the trust of people across the country,” he said.

Speaking on the sensitive issue of Jammu and Kashmir’s statehood, Wani criticized the National Conference (NC) and the Congress for politicising the matter. “The Prime Minister and the Home Minister have already assured in Parliament that statehood will be restored at the right time. Unfortunately, the NC and Congress are using the issue for their political gains,” he added.

Wani also accused the National Conference of betraying the public by failing to deliver on its election promises over the years.

The programme concluded with enthusiastic chants in support of the BJP, as party workers reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the organisation at the grassroots level and working tirelessly to connect with the people.
