After achieving its motive to finish the Shiv Sena, the BJP will dump the rebel MLAs too

Mumbai: The petition about the disqualification of Shiv Sena MLAs has been handed over to a larger bench, but after considering the legal issues the court’s decision may go against the government.
Basically, the BJP-supported government in the state is unconstitutional and all the decisions taken so far regarding the formation of this government are also unconstitutional, said Atul Londhe, chief spokesperson of the Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC).

In Rajendra Singh Rana’s case, the court had said that the first list should be taken into account. Therefore, the constitutional validity of all subsequent processes such as taking the election of the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly by the Governor, and the consent of the Governor to the trust vote, will have to be decided. Constitutional experts believe that these decisions are likely to go against the government.
According to SC’s order today, the fate of the 40 rebel MLAs from Shiv Sena has been postponed by a few days, but this government will not last long.
The BJP took away the naive Shiv Sena MLAs but they should realize that the BJP will leave them as soon as it achieves its political objective. The BJP works on the principle of ‘use and throw’. There is an undeclared emergency in the country under the BJP government and democracy is under threat, Londhe said.
