Mumbai: After the Maharashtra Cyber cell unearth the malpractice in the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) recruitment exam, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Leader Gopichand Padalkar has reminded Uddhav government to look into this issue and help the poor MPSC aspirants to allow them to sit for main exams.

Padalkar brought to the notice that there are approximately more than 3500 such students who can’t attend the upcoming MPSC main exams because they don’t have financial support to approach the court the way 86 students approached and got permission from the court to appear for the exams.

“Now CM Uddhav Thackeray has started attending the events and meeting post his surgery, I want to bring to his notice issue of MPSC aspirants. Now it’s has been proved in court that mess happened in the Preliminary exam of MPSC and that is why the court has allowed 86 students to appear for the main examination. But the question remains about other more than 3500 students who couldn’t approach court due to no money. What plans State government has got for them?” Questioned Padalkar

Further Padalkar wanted Uddhav government of intense agitation of students if this issue doesn’t get resolved as early as possible.

Padalkar who in the past had raised his voice in the issue related to MPSC exam mess further stated, “Time has come that MPSC board should take responsibility of all these students and should take quick decision regarding them or else if any student takes any extreme step then we will hold Uddhav Thackeray government responsible for all this.

The Pune cyber police are currently investigating all three exams, and have so far arrested 25 people, including Maharashtra State Council of Examination (MSCE) commissioner Tukaram Supe, and Sukhdev Dere, who was MSCE commissioner until 2017.

The police have also arrested the director and other employees of GA Software Pvt Ltd, a firm that was contracted in 2021 with conducting the TET and MHADA exams.
