Srinagar: The Bar Association of Handwara successfully conducted its elections, resulting in the unopposed election of new office bearers, who assumed their roles with immediate effect.
Advocate Khursheed Ahmad Khan has been elected as the president, bringing extensive legal expertise and a commitment to effective leadership. Advocate Tahir Rashid War has been chosen as the vice president, pledging to support the association’s goals and initiatives.
In key administrative roles, Advocate Mir Imran has been elected as the general secretary, entrusted with overseeing legal and organizational affairs. Advocate Mudasir Ahsan has taken up the position of joint secretary, ensuring efficient coordination of the association’s activities. Advocate Parvaiz Ahmad Dar has been appointed as treasurer, tasked with managing the association’s finances.
The elections were uncontested, reflecting the confidence and trust of the association’s members in the newly elected team.
The office bearers expressed their gratitude to the members and affirmed their dedication to the advancement of the legal fraternity in Handwara. They pledged to uphold justice and foster professional growth among lawyers in the region.
