Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday made a firm statement on the Ayodhya dispute, declaring that there is no possibility of the Babri structure being rebuilt under any circumstances. Addressing a religious gathering in Barabanki, the Chief Minister said that such expectations would never be fulfilled.
Speaking during the event, Adityanath said, “Those who are still dreaming of the Babri structure should understand clearly that such dreams will never come true.” He added that history has moved on and there is no space left for what he described as forces that opposed the Ram temple movement.
In a sharp remark, the Chief Minister said, “There is no place left for Ram-drohis — those who created obstacles in Ram’s work and those who fired bullets at Ram devotees.” He further stated that people holding onto past disputes were only misleading themselves.
Issuing a strong warning on law and order, Adityanath urged people to respect India’s legal framework. “Do not wait for the Day of Judgment. Learn to live with discipline in India and follow the law,” he said. Emphasising consequences, he added, “If you follow the law, you will benefit. If you break the law, the path ahead leads only to destruction.”
The Chief Minister also cautioned against using religion to justify unlawful acts. “If someone believes they will reach paradise by breaking the law, that belief is false. Such dreams will never be realised,” he said.
Yogi Adityanath was speaking at the Shri Ram Janaki Temple during the 10th Shri Hanuman Virat Mahayagya and Shri Ramarcha Pujan, a large religious programme attended by saints, devotees, and local residents.
