Mumbai: Fresh political controversy has erupted in Maharashtra after NCP–Sharad Pawar faction (NCP-SCP) leader Rohit Pawar openly questioned the circumstances surrounding Ajit Pawar’s plane crash, suggesting that the incident may not have been accidental.

Speaking to the media, Rohit Pawar said the issue has left the entire state unsettled. “Entire Maharashtra is questioning whether Ajit Dada’s plane crash was an accident or a conspiracy,” he said, adding that doubts continue to linger in the public mind.

Raising serious concerns, he claimed, “Ajit Pawar’s plane crash could be a part of a larger conspiracy. We also investigated some aspects related to Ajit Pawar’s accident.” He referred to information mentioned in a book, saying, “A book states that if you want to kill a person, the easiest way is to kill that person’s driver.”

Rohit Pawar further pointed to what he described as unusual changes in Ajit Pawar’s travel plans. “The day before the accident, Dada was supposed to travel from Mumbai to Pune by car in the evening. The convoy had already started,” he said. Questioning the sudden shift, he asked, “Why did Dada not go by car that day?”

Adding to the speculation, Rohit Pawar revealed, “Ajit Dada was scheduled to meet a very big leader,” suggesting that the timing of the incident raises further questions.

Describing the emotional impact of the incident, Rohit Pawar said the tragedy still feels unreal for many people. “Some people are still expecting Dada to come from somewhere. Some are saying there were six people on the aircraft, others claim it was not Ajit Dada’s body,” he said.

He concluded by expressing disbelief over the incident, stating, “Even today, it feels like a nightmare.”
