Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on Saturday said the AI summit has witnessed strong participation and enthusiasm even on its fifth day. He noted that several technical solutions were showcased during the event, with many startups drawing attention for their innovative work.
The minister said exhibitors expressed satisfaction with the response and engagement at the summit, calling it a positive sign for India’s growing technology ecosystem.
Startups Receive Positive Feedback
Vaishnaw said he personally interacted with multiple exhibitors and startup founders at the summit. According to him, many participants highlighted how the platform helped them present their ideas and connect with a wider audience.
He added that the sustained crowd turnout reflects the interest among young innovators and professionals in artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.
Condemnation of Protest at Summit
Referring to the recent disturbance at the event, Vaishnaw said exhibitors strongly criticised the conduct of Youth Congress workers who allegedly created chaos during the summit. He said participants described the incident as shameful and unnecessary, especially at a global technology event.
The minister said such actions undermine the spirit of innovation and constructive discussion.
Attack on Congress Over Youth Politics
Taking a sharp political dig, Vaishnaw accused the Congress party of lowering political standards. He said the reaction from exhibitors and young participants shows widespread disapproval of disruptive politics.
